Marios Karatzias
CEO and Co-Founder
Marios (@MariosKaratzias) worked at Cyta, the biggest corporation in Cyprus, from 1980 until March 2015. While at Cyta, he established and headed the Buildings and Civil Engineering Works Department, which evolved into the Non-Telecom Infrastructure Division. Between 2010 and 2015, he served as the Senior Director of Customer Services. His responsibilities included managing the organisation’s Corporate and Retail Sales network, the Customers’ Technical Support Department and the Call Centre.
Additionally, from September 2012 until 2014, he was appointed and served as Managing Director of Cytacom Solutions Ltd, a subsidiary of the corporation that offers integrated ICT solutions.
He led the building of the Twitter presence of Cyta, which included providing support to clients through Twitter.
After leaving Cyta, he co-founded SocialWiz with Rita Karatzia. He has one of the biggest Twitter accounts in Cyprus and a loyal follower base.
Rita Karatzia
CMO, COO and Co-Founder
Rita (@RitaKaratzia) was the first professional woman to be employed in a managerial position at Cyta, where she established the Public Relations Department and worked for a number of years as the company’s Director of Public Relations and Communications.
She has extensive knowledge and experience in the fields of Strategic Communications, Crisis Communications Management, Above-the-Line, Below-the-Line and On-Line activities, Strategic Management of Brands, Internal Communications, Media Relations and Media Buying Management. She also has extensive knowledge of Social Media, and a strong presence on Twitter.
In 2009 she was awarded the prestigious Madame Figaro Professional Woman of the Year Award.
After leaving Cyta, she co-founded SocialWiz with Marios Karatzias.
